End of Summer and Northern Lights
Living in Trondheim is just wonderful if you like outdoor activities but swimming in Pirbadet is so awesome. They add salt water in the sports pool and I must say, I never had a stuffy nose after swimming (I go multiple times a week) all year long. Every time I go swimming in Austria I end up with a stuffy nose the next day. Plus the view from Pirbadet over the Trondheimfjord is wonderful.
Many people say you have to go to Tromsø or Island to see the northern lights. Well no, you can see them in Trondheim regularly. In September you just have to go away from all the light pollution during the night. If there is a clear sky (no clouds) and some aurora activities then you will see them nicely.
After a good year in a collective, it was time for me to move on. I found a nice apartment in the city center of Trondheim (Mitbyen) and moving showed how many things I already collected over the year. 🙈
I’m really happy that I found so many nice people who go hiking, skiing or play board games, … all year around and with whom I can always spend time. THANK YOU ALL.
In November winter is just around one of the next corners and you will know one morning. Everything is getting calm and quiet and the scene could not be better. But before that, we had a cold week that froze all the lakes in Bymarka. Even and I used that opportunity to go for a nice hike and crossed some of the lakes. We did not know if it would hold but other people were ice-skating, so why not? Thank you Even and Elize, every moment we spend enjoying life together is wonderful.
